Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy on the sales floor, coach a diverse team, and uphold store standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll support the Store Manager, drive sales, manage daily operations, and ensure exceptional customer experiences through hands-on leadership and on-the-floor problem solving. The role requires flexible hours, weekend shifts, and a commitment to safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with an energy mindset and solutions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged and helping close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Keep the store organized, customer ready, and running smoothly.
• Take ownership of store execution and support loss prevention and SOPs.
• Coach teammates in real time and provide direction as Manager on Duty.
