Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead on the sales floor with energy and ownership, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You’ll coach a diverse team, manage daily store operations, and ensure safety and SOPs are followed. This role requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, with a focus on execution and team development.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes

Responsibilities

• Lead on the sales floor with energy and solutions for every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
• Assist in opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage to keep the store running smoothly.
• Provide leadership as Manager on Duty when scheduled and train new associates.
