Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lithonia, GA to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and maintain clean, well-stocked areas while upholding company policies.

You will help supervise and develop store associates, perform opening/closing duties, and ensure a positive, safe customer experience. High energy and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise and record keeping including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling
• Maintain clean, stocked, organized store and stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets including store cash
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure compliance by associates
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe environment with professional interactions
• Keep store bathrooms and floors clean and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
