Job summary

Dollar Tree in Conyers, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. Duties include assisting with daily store activities, organizing merchandise, and helping with training.

You will lead by example, ensure a clean, safe environment, and maintain strong, friendly interactions with customers and colleagues. This role requires high school diploma (preferred) and store-management experience; opportunities for growth within our retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Able to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked store and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean: bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
