Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver excellent customer service.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communicate store activities to staff.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and bookkeeping including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash, and comply with safety policies.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
