Total Wine & More seeks an Assistant Store Manager in our Iowa market to grow brand presence by delivering top-tier service and building a sales-driven culture. You will support daily operations, coach staff, and uphold compliance while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will report to the Store Manager and help develop a high-performing team with strong product knowledge across beverages and related offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
