Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Scranton to lead daily operations, coach the team, and drive sales while delivering outstanding customer service. You will oversee staffing, merchandising, and loss prevention, ensuring adherence to company policies and the dress code.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, with the ability to work independently and manage store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Lead, execute and assist Lids selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and address issues in the moment, including escalations.
• Ensure every customer is offered membership programs or special in-store offers when live in-store.
• Adhere to current visual guidelines and maintain store cleanliness and professional appearance.
• Open and close the store following procedures and manage cash procedures.
• Participate in scheduling and staffing decisions when Store Manager is not present.
