Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Everett, WA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence and on opposing shifts, ensuring excellent service and smooth store execution.

The role requires leadership skills, personnel coaching, staffing, and hands-on involvement in hiring, training, and day-to-day store management.

Qualifications

• Requires Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification is preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing at the retail sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager with setting goals, coaching, and training.
• Participate in recruiting and interviewing to hire qualified team members.
• Ensure calls are answered per company policy and orders are processed promptly.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to the team.
• Maintain store opening/closing duties and secure money and deposits.
