Janie and Jack LLC in Torrance, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations and deliver an engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will support the General Manager in achieving store goals with confidence and clear communication.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of retail sales experience with management exposure, a proven sales track record, training ability, and merchandising know-how.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years retail sales experience with management (preferred).
• Experience meeting/exceeding sales and profits.
• Training skills to elevate the team’s product knowledge and selling skills.
• Experience implementing merchandising strategies and changing visual sets.
• Acts with authenticity, sincerity, and transparency.
• Available nights, weekends, and holidays; peak periods such as holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supports General Manager in managing day-to-day store operations to meet KPI’s.
• Develops clear action plans with General Manager to achieve objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coaches staff to improve selling opportunities and build customer relationships.
• Creates and implements visual merchandising strategies to increase sales.
• Utilizes tools to enhance the customer experience.
• Motivates the team to achieve hourly, daily, and weekly goals.
• Maintains a positive work environment that fosters diversity and teamwork.
