Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Ohio location. You will act as the manager on duty, lead store associates, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales performance through effective training and operations.

This role reports to the Store Manager and reinforces brand standards across all daily tasks. You will manage scheduling, training, and compliance, while maintaining store appearance and merchandise presentation.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and regular follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment.
• Lead, execute and assist selling strategy to achieve KPIs and sales targets.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
