Job summary

7 Leaves Café is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in California to help lead daily operations, develop team members, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will model high standards, optimize schedules, and drive a customer‑first culture while supporting growth into higher leadership roles within the organization.

You will participate in hiring, training, and executing store initiatives, with a focus on hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience in retail or food service.
• Willingness to work at multiple locations within the district or county.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Developing leadership skills and ability to coach teammates.
• Customer-focused mindset with sales awareness.
• Able to stand, walk and lift at least 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in daily operations and staff coaching.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling to meet labor goals.
• Provide mentorship and feedback to team during shifts.
• Support customer service initiatives, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store compliance with policies, safety, and quality standards.
• Support inventory, product quality, and stock replenishment.
• Monitor sales, cash handling, and reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership on store initiatives and training.
