Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and develop team members in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will support opening and closing procedures, merchandise organization, loss prevention, scheduling, and coaching Store Associates to meet company standards. This part-time role offers opportunities to grow, with a focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling/cash handling, and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom according to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company policies by all associates
• Help Stores Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms, floors, and waste areas
