Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, support merchandise handling, and help maintain displays to ensure a clean, welcoming shopping enviroment.

In this role you will supervise store associates, participate in scheduling and payroll, and help open/close procedures while safeguarding store assets and providing exceptional customer service daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Support merchandise handling and maintain store displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and basic cash handling.
• Help supervise and develop store associates.
