Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, assist customers with questions, and help develop the store team. You will help transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintain seasonal displays, and perform opening/closing tasks.

The role emphasizes adherence to company policies, asset protection, and maintaining a clean, safe, and friendly store environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in store management in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
