Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role is based in Cornelia, GA and requires supporting daily store activities, employee development, and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with merchandising, opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining clean, organized sales floors and stockrooms. A strong focus on customer service and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Maintain store areas and ensure stockroom and sales floor organization.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll and scheduling.
• Protect company assets and maintain cash control.
• Follow safety guidelines and store policies.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
