Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Cumming, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with day-to-day store activities, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor and stockroom meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Supervise, train and develop Store Associates.
