Citi Trends in Lakeland, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations, drive sales, and develop team members. You will work closely with the Store Manager on staffing, onboarding, training, and coaching to deliver excellent customer experiences.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage schedules, inventories, and loss prevention while upholding company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role preferred.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals, customer experience standards, and operational expectations are met.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies, procedures, and standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training support; help maintain staffing levels.
