Job summary

Citi Trends in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead teams, and drive sales while upholding service standards. Under the Store Manager, you will assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and training; manage inventory and loss prevention; ensure merchandising and customer experience excellence.

You will supervise and coach associates, participate in recruiting, scheduling, and training, and help maintain staffing levels and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience in an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals, customer experience standards, and operational expectations are met.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and procedures, and support visual standards.
