StorQuest Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily site operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support the Store Manager in revenue, occupancy, and service goals. You'll oversee rental processes, cash handling, vendor communications, and upkeep while promoting a team-first environment and growth opportunities across locations in the WWG family.

This role requires weekend availability, a passion for customer service, and the ability to train and motivate

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years in Customer Service/Sales experience.
• Tech Savvy is a plus.
• Experience in Cash Handling required.
• Must be available on weekends.
• A huge passion for guest service and sales.
• The ability to be a part of a team to help support and motivate as needed to ensure a collaborative and positive work environment
• The mentality that there are no spare customers, every experience is as valuable as the next
• A positive, outgoing personality
• An insatiable appetite to learn new things
• Strong accountability combined with strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork
• Experience working in the retail or service industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily operations and guest experiences.
• Oversee rental process: converting sales, taking payments, selling merchandise, and offering insurance.
• Assist customers with truck rentals at some locations.
• Participate in collecting past-due accounts and manage cash handling.
• Inspect stores daily, maintain an impeccable facility, and handle minor maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors for routine maintenance and balance receipts.
