Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales by sharing product knowledge, and provide outstanding guest service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, ensure a clean and organized store, and help meet sales, profit, and shrink goals while upholding company policies and procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role in Chicopee, MA with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests; respond to questions quickly and courteously.
• Promote loyalty programs and current promotions to drive sales.
• Supervise associates in absence of Store Manager and ensure policy adherence.
• Process transactions accurately using POS system and handle cash deposits.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Support omni-channel orders fulfillment and daily shipping.
