Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Franklin, TN.

You will assist with daily activities, merchandise movement, and opening/closing duties while upholding company standards. Responsibilities include supervising and training associates, maintaining clean and organized sales areas, and ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred in retail, grocery, or drug store.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and store procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept/mopped, trash managed.
• Other duties as assigned.
