Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Franklin, TN. You will support the Store Manager, lead a team of associates, and focus on merchandising and freight processing to deliver a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include daily store operations, asset protection, and maintaining shop floor standards while upholding safety policies. Physical tasks and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred for supervisory duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process freight and merchandise flow according to productivity standards.
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners and maintain visual displays.
