Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Franklin, TN to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage daily activities, train staff, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret basic directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for storefronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, cash handling and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked and organized store areas per company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure store associates follow procedures.
• Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness, restrooms, floors and waste are maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.
