Dollar Tree in Woodridge, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, and help train and supervise store associates.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced retail environment. Compensation aligns with full-time hours and includes benefits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise within store areas and maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications related to activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies; follow safety guidelines and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Keep store clean, restocked bathrooms, swept/mopped floors, trash removal, and neat areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
