Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in San Diego to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee scheduling, training, and discipline when the Store Manager is unavailable, while maintaining visual standards and store merchandising.

You will mentor associates, uphold Lids policies, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment. This role reports to the Store Manager and offers comprehensive benefits and uncapped bonus

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager isn't present.
• Manage store associates using LIDS training programs and set goals for sales and tasks.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members to create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
