Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations, drive sales, and develop a high-performing team in Tupelo, MS. You will partner with the Store Manager to hire, onboard, and coach associates, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

The role requires a active approach to staffing, strong communication, and the ability to manage flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3-5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales and cash handling.
