Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mississippi to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with staffing and onboarding. You will help drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and mentor associates to deliver strong customer service.

Qualified candidates have 2–4 years in a retail leadership role and 3–5 years overall retail experience, with strong communication and math skills for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Provide coaching and performance support to store staff.
