Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mississippi. You will support daily store operations, drive sales performance, and collaborate closely with the Store Manager to lead a team and ensure outstanding customer experiences.

You will assist with hiring, onboarding, and development of associates, while upholding company policies and loss prevention standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
