Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Ridgeland, MS to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with hiring and onboarding. You will help drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and develop store associates under the guidance of the Store Manager.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and solid retail experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3-5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals and customer experience standards are met.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, and cash handling.
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training support.
• Maintain a safe, organized store and enforce policies.
