Job summary

Leslie's pool supplies is the World’s Largest Retailer of Swimming Pool Supplies. The Assistant Manager (AM) will support store performance to meet customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and merchandising objectives.

You will learn best practices to train and develop your team and set expectations for outstanding service as you lead by example in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School.
• A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience.
• Experience managing/leading a team.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, payroll and expenses.
• Conducted water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure the team follows all safety protocols.
• Identify new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open and close store responsibilities including daily bank deposits.
