Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Tulsa location. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure standards across the sales floor and stockroom.

In this role you will participate in opening and closing procedures, supervise and train store associates, and uphold safety and loss-prevention practices while maintaining a friendly, efficient store environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and ensure seasonal areas are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store areas meet company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Supervise and train Store Associates and maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store, restocking bathrooms, floors, and general presentation.
