Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and develop a high-performing team. You will help supervise associates, assist with merchandising, payroll and scheduling, and ensure safety and policy compliance while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a flexible, high-energy approach to serving customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and ensure team compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Keep store clean including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
