Boot Barn is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in the Gainesville area. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead a team in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and upholding merchandising standards. This role emphasizes staff development, schedule management, and community-focused events.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, provide coaching and recognition, and be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Implement and maintain continuous learning and partner training plans to improve store performance across operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on scheduling, policies, and interviewing/hiring for the store team.
• Plan and execute volume-driving events with local community outreach.
• Coach associates to engage customers through loyalty programs and achieve team goals.
• Maintain stock levels, merchandise adjacencies, and signages per company guidelines.
• Oversee markdowns, product receipts, and inventory shrink plans with the team.
• Maintain knowledge across product categories and train partners accordingly.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and comply with Time and Attendance policy.
