Job summary

Foot Locker in Franklin, TN seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy and ownership, driving sales and coaching a dynamic team. You’ll run daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and uphold store standards with an owner/operator mindset.

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to mentor staff, schedule shifts, and respond quickly to issues, while leveraging retail tech to optimize performance and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the sales floor with energy and solutions during customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Handle daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Follow safety, loss prevention and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
