Job summary

Buckle is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests. You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, recruit teammates, train and motivate staff, and carry out high-level duties in the absence of the Store Manager.

The role includes leadership responsibilities, merchandising, guest service excellence, and daily operations to ensure Buckle standards and store goals are met.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or willingness to learn Buckle systems and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with Guests and Teammates.
• Ability to train and motivate Teammates and lead in the Store Manager's absence.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and deliver legendary service.
• Assist in merchandising, display setup and inventory pulls.
• Lead and train Teammates; support recruitment and onboarding.
• Maintain store operations and execute security and cash procedures.
• Partner with Store Manager on education focus and zone ownership.
