Job summary

Family Dollar seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist with day-to-day functions, supervise associates, and ensure floor integrity and safety.

The role involves organizing merchandise flow, opening/closing procedures, and maintaining promotions while upholding company policies and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
