Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage day-to-day activities and ensure a welcoming, efficient shopping experience.

The role involves supervising store associates, training, assisting with merchandise onboarding, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to supervise, train, and develop store associates is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and company procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
