Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Dayton, OH to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, manage merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor, and help train Store Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Protect company assets and ensure policies are followed.
