Dollar Tree in Ohio is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities and support the Store Manager in leadership duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Protect store assets including cash and follow safety guidelines.
