Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure clean, well-stocked spaces.

In this role, you will participate in opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a positive, safe work environment for staff and customers. This position is full-time and on-site at our Springfield location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure assets.
