Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Elk Grove Village location in Illinois.

The role focuses on daily store activities, merchandise handling, and staff supervision to ensure a welcoming shopping experience. You will assist with opening/closing procedures, organize inventory, implement corporate directives, and help maintain clean, safe, and well-presented store areas while supporting loss prevention

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and other communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling), and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies; supervise and train Store Associates.
