This part-time role involves assisting with daily store activities, merchandising, scheduling, and compliance with company policies. You will work closely with the Store Manager to supervise associates, maintain a safe and friendly environment, and ensure inventory and displays meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and protect assets.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, ensuring a positive and safe environment.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety guidelines while maintaining professional interactions.
• Handle payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts and assist with loss prevention.
