Job summary

Lids Sports Group is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, develop a high-performing team, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, maintain store standards, and execute company policies.

You will mentor staff, oversee scheduling, and ensure a safe, engaging shopping environment. Experience in retail leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work independently are valued.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Schedule and staff the store including calling in associates for peaks when needed.
• Support in executing training, achieving KPIs, and ensuring policy compliance.
