Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Alabama to lead customer service excellence and revenue targets. The role emphasizes coaching team members, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance.

A 40-hour week with occasional Saturdays and in-person attendance is required. You will develop leadership skills through training and a comprehensive program, supporting store profitability and community engagement while delivering a white-glove customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or leadership experience.
• Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle for the workday.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use phone, POS, Microsoft Office and other systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required as per applicable law.
• Must meet physical demands of the role (lifting up to 25 lbs etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the loan or pawn process.
• Assist account management and recovery processes, including calls.
• Meet performance standards by leveraging partnerships and referrals.
• Build customer relationships to grow business and brand loyalty.
• Coach and develop Customer Service Representatives as applicable.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the POS system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
• Manage store opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Monitor store appearance and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
