Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Gadsden, AL to lead a team and drive customer-focused financial services on a full-time, in-person basis.

You will manage daily operations, coach staff, and ensure compliance while delivering strong customer experiences across our stores. Growth opportunities exist through cross-brand training and leadership development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Background check required; results considered in accordance with applicable law.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this position (standing, moving up to 25 pounds, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions and ancillary products.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships to further brand recognition and loyalty.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls, while focusing on customer service to prevent loss and charge off accounts.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy and integrity.
• Provide coaching and development to Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality standards.
• Perform duties outside of the office when applicable, including on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands.
• Work to meet company performance standards by leveraging partnerships and referrals.
• Maintain store security protocols and proper opening/closing procedures including vault/cash drawer management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws; conduct store audits and compile financial reports.
• Monitor and maintain store appearance and handle facility maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends (minimum 40 hours/week).
