Job summary

Läderach is seeking a Deputy Manager for our Miami area store to support supervision, drive excellent customer service, and help execute training and store goals. The role supports the Store Manager and Regional Manager to achieve quotas and maintain high standards of product presentation.

Ideal candidates will have retail leadership experience, strong team management, and a passion for chocolate, with flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in retail with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong leadership, staff management and customer service skills.
• Reliable with a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient with email, Microsoft 365, data entry, spreadsheets and POS.
• Quality-minded with keen attention to detail.
• Proactive and efficient.
• Passionate about chocolate.

Responsibilities

• Lead outstanding in-store customer experience and motivate staff to deliver top-notch service.
• Oversee product sales, register duties, shop and shelf care, gift packaging and orders.
• Ensure accurate merchandising and follow food safety protocols.
• Schedule staff shifts and coordinate store meetings and events.
• Assist Store Manager with product merchandising and inventory orders.
• Maintain in-store compliance and loss prevention standards.
• Communicate corporate values to customers and employees.
• Manage the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Handle other role-related responsibilities as assigned.
