Job summary

Läderach, a Swiss premium chocolate maker, is seeking a Deputy Manager to support Store Manager in guiding a team and delivering outstanding customer service in our Miami location.

You will oversee staff, assist with training, merchandising, inventory, and daily store operations, aiming to meet store quotas while maintaining food safety standards. The role requires retail experience, leadership, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, and a passion for chocolate.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule; availability for extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with email, Microsoft 365, data entry, spreadsheets, and POS.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-store customer experience; motivate staff to deliver top-notch service.
• Oversee product sales and register duties; manage shop and shelf care, gift packaging, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure accurate product merchandising and follow food safety protocols.
• Schedule staff shifts and coordinate store meetings/events.
• Assist Store Manager with merchandise accuracy and store inventory orders.
• Help maintain in-store compliance and loss prevention standards.
• Communicate corporate values to customers and employees.
• Act as store administrator in the Store Manager's absence.
