Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our high-energy convenience store team. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach staff, and help hire and train a capable team.

Expect to work weekends and holidays, with second or third shift coverage, in a fast-paced retail environment. You will manage inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and cash handling while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain/maintain Food Safety Certification.
• Experience in retail or convenience store leadership is a plus.
• Strong communication and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Run the register with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
