Dollar Tree is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help maintain promotional displays.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Training and supervision of store associates are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and process directives.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
