Job summary

UDF in Middletown, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team, deliver The Hi Five Guest Experience, and ensure safe, efficient shift operations.

You will supervise associates, handle store administration, assist guests and oversee DipSide items, POS and gas sales. This role requires cash handling, security awareness and adherence to alcohol/tobacco regulations, with a 37-40 hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English with customers and staff.
• Experience leading teams and coaching shift staff.
• Cash handling and basic arithmetic accuracy.
• Know-how operating POS systems and gas consoles.
• Understanding of store operations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train associates, provide coaching and conduct interviews.
• Handle store administration including paperwork and deliveries.
• Deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and greet customers warmly.
• Prepare DipSide items and ensure product quality.
• Operate POS and gas console, process transactions and provide change.
• Stock shelves, maintain displays and ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain security and follow cash drop procedures.
• Perform maintenance checks and accurate time reporting.
• Take on other duties as assigned by Management.
